Budoni sits on Sardinia’s north-east coast, in the Gallura region, roughly halfway between Olbia and Orosei. It is a low-key resort town with a long sandy shoreline, clear shallow water and a hinterland of granite hills. Two neighbouring residence complexes, Bouganville and Le Vele, occupy a quiet spot within easy reach of the beach and the town centre.

The setting

Budoni’s main beach stretches for several kilometres and shelves gently into the sea, which makes it a comfortable choice for families with young children. Behind the sand, the town spreads out in relaxed fashion, with a small historic core, a handful of shops, bars and restaurants, and a marina area.
